Place the silhouettes and the starting cone as shown in the figure. Player B stays near the central silhouette while the other players stay in pairs near the other silhouettes and the cone. Player A starts with the ball.

  • Exercise development:
    1. A passes the ball to B
    2. B passes back to A
    3. A passes the ball to C running forward
    4. C passes the ball to D
    5. D performs a flank play for player C moving to support behind his silhouette
    6. D moves slipping out behind his silhouette receiving back the ball from teammate C
    7. D passes to E
    8. E passes the ball to F
    9. F starts again the exercise
  • Proper players rotation:
    • A replaces B after passing to teammate C
    • B replaces C after completing the combination with D
    • C replaces D
    • D replaces E
    • E replaces A

Reverse the starting direction after each series


Coaching Points
  • Encourage players to keep high the concentration during the exercise to improve technique
  • Move to attack the ball before receiving (anticipating the silhouette)
  • Player C has to receive the ball on his run
  • The rotation of positions must be dynamic
  • Play with 1 ball touch allowed according with the technical level of players
