Organization
Make an area of 40x50 meters in the central area of the pitch with the spac markers, 6 forwards play against 5 defenders, the 5 forwards combine themselves and try to score.
Description
  • 2 teams try to score in different ways. Forwards must score in the goal. Defenders must score in the small goals
  • A forward starts playing with their teammates inside the playing area and gets in the rectangle. Defenders try to recover the possession and score a goal in the two small goals from the halfway line
  • A1 passes the ball to one of the attacking players and then starts playing with them
  • A2 tries to combine with their attacking teammates in order to create spaces and goal opportunities
  • A2 combines with A3 through a wall pass in order to get the chance to shoot at goal

 

Variations
  1. Increase the number of defensive players up to 6
Coaching Points
  • The forward has to receive the ball placing himself in such a way that their body is facing the goal
  • Forwards should move without ball in order for them to create some space
  • Overlapping runs
  • Work on the wall pass
