Coaching Points
  • Work on body orientation during reception, it should always be facing the widest part of the pitch
  • Encourage the touch and go: After playing the ball with a teammate, the player looks for an empty space where they can receive the ball again
  • Minimum ideal unity: The one that possesses the ball must always have available a minimum number of teammates that to ensure a passing solution at any time
  • The closest player to the one that possesses the ball must choose what to do, an approaching or in depth movement
  • Encourage flex players to execute a counter movement for unmarking with the consequent approximation for reception
  • During the defensive phase work on the tactical aspect of positioning, tactical behaviour that includes the following capacities:
    • Cognitive
    • Valuation of space-time
    • Motor anticipation
